Otomatik Portakal<\/strong><\/em>,\u00a0Anthony Burgess<\/a>‘in yazm\u0131\u015f oldu\u011fu bir roman. Eserin orijinal ismi\u00a0A Clockwork Orange’<\/strong>dir. Kitab\u0131n ad\u0131, Burgess’in duydu\u011fu bir \u0130ngiliz argo ifadesinden gelmektedir: as queer as a clockwork orange (Otomatik bir portakal kadar garip). Burgess, bu ifadeyi kullanarak “insan do\u011fas\u0131 gere\u011fi organik ve \u00f6zg\u00fcrd\u00fcr, ancak bir makine gibi programlanmaya \u00e7al\u0131\u015f\u0131l\u0131rsa do\u011fas\u0131na ayk\u0131r\u0131 olur. K\u0131saca “insan\u0131n bir robot gibi y\u00f6netilmesi” mesaj\u0131n\u0131 vermek istemi\u015ftir. T\u00fcr\u00fc “distopya, bilim kurgu ve toplumsal ele\u015ftiri”dir. Kitapta \u00f6ne \u00e7\u0131kan temalar: \u015fiddet, \u00f6zg\u00fcr irade, devlet ve dilin g\u00fcc\u00fcd\u00fcr. Yazar bu eseri, e\u015finin 1944 y\u0131l\u0131nda ABD’li askerler taraf\u0131ndan sald\u0131r\u0131ya u\u011framas\u0131 ve \u00e7ocu\u011funu d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcrmesinden etkilenerek yazm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Orijinal dili \u0130ngilizcedir. Eser, T\u00fcrk\u00e7eye\u00a0Dost K\u00f6rpe<\/a>\u00a0taraf\u0131ndan \u00e7evrilmi\u015ftir. Eser o y\u0131llar\u0131n (1960’l\u0131 y\u0131llar) modernle\u015fme ve de\u011fi\u015fim sanc\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131 yans\u0131t\u0131rken, bireylerin ne kadar \u00f6zg\u00fcr veya bask\u0131 alt\u0131nda olmas\u0131 gerekti\u011fini ve sonu\u00e7lar\u0131n\u0131 sorgular. Ve bunu eserin kahraman\u0131n\u0131n hayat\u0131nda okuyucuya anlat\u0131r. Zaten 1971’de \u00e7ekilen sinema filminde de kahraman ara seslerde s\u00fcrekli kendi hayat\u0131n\u0131 anlat\u0131c\u0131 durumunda oldu\u011funu belirtir.\u00a0Stanley Kubrick<\/a>\u00a0taraf\u0131ndan beyaz perdeye aktar\u0131lan kitap,\u00a0k\u00fclt film<\/a>\u00a0klasikleri aras\u0131nda hak etti\u011fi yeri alm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r.
